Pheasant Habitat

The ring-necked pheasant is usually found in cultivated farmlands where things like corn or wheat, oats or barley have been grown and waste grain can be found on the ground. They’re usually found in grasslands, open areas, low-lying undergrowth, and woodlands that are not very dense. They’ve even been known to inhabit swamps and bogs if there is enough dry areas for them to roost.
