Pheasant Diet
Pheasants usually eat about an hour after the sun comes up. They primarily eat plant foods like grains and seeds from agriculture, corn, oats, wheat, and barley. They also eat wild nuts and seeds and even some wild berries. They also moderate insectivores, in that they can be found eating grasshoppers, crickets, moths and other types of common bugs.
