Dove Diet

Mourning doves can be found eating all types of seeds, nuts, grains, fruits, and even some insects and bugs. They’re given to eating seeds that are on the ground more than having to forage for food. They have been known to eat seeds or nuts off trees when food is difficult to find. Their diet consists almost entirely of seeds and plant matter, things such as corn, millet, milo, barley, oats, and barley.
