Mule Deer Diet

Most Mule Deer will eat a large variety of various foods, including grasses, shoots, twigs, leaves, berries, nuts and seeds. They do not eat anything in their surrounds and actually select what they want to eat. They will select the best grasses and other things upon which which to feed. Their diet depends on the habitat in which they live where mule deer that live in a wooded area will have more of a selection over those living in a desert area.
